Commonly Asked Questions
How long before my appointment should I arrive?
If you are a new patient, please arrive at least 30 minutes early. This will allow adequate time to complete our intake form.
Where should I park?
Parking is free on the side and back of the building. There are six regular spots and one handicap spot.
Do I need a referral?
If you are planning to use your insurance and have an HMO plan, yes you'll need a referral from your primary care physician. If you have a PPO plan or plan to pay out of pocket, you do not need a referral.
What conditions do you treat?
Patients of Dr. Mohan can expect comprehensive and thorough care for all dermatologic conditions including but not limited to:
Skin cancer (melanoma, basal cell, squamous cell)
Pre-skin cancer (actinic keratosis)
Head-to-toe skin/mole/spot checks
Sun spots/skin discoloration, melasma
Eczema, psoriasis, rashes
Acne, rosacea
Scars, dermatofibromas, cysts, other benign growths
Hair loss and hyperhidrosis
Warts
Which insurances do you accept?
When you call to make an appointment, please have your insurance information ready.
We accept most major medical insurance plans including the following:
Medicare
Anthem Blue Cross PPO
Blue Shield PPO
United Healthcare PPO
Cigna PPO
Aetna PPO
Patients with HMO plans should check with their insurance company to verify if authorization is required before coming in for an appointment.
Cash pay options are also available upon request if your health insurance is not listed above
Do you offer telemedicine appointments?
Yes, upon request, if telemedicine is covered by your insurance.
